Who are we?

My name is Lindsay Crosby. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Sam, who I am absolutely in love with and who is my best friend! In 2004 Sam and I left our families in Florida and moved so that he could go to school to get a Masters of Divinity degree. He graduated in 2008 and is currently working as an insurance auditor and serving as an elder at our church. Eventually we would like to be serving in a church where Sam is a full time pastor. Sam and I aren't perfect by far. We are two people who our Creator has graciously redeemed from our sinful ways and called us to believe in Him.


We struggled for years through infertility and eventually decided to adopt through the foster care system. In April of 2009 we received a call to take a 6 week old little girl who, 22 months later, we adopted and named Rebekah Love.


I love taking pictures and have photo documented our lives since 2008! The primary reason I started this blog is because when we started the foster to adopt program we were not allowed to post pictures of Rebekah online. We weren't allowed to share pictures with our friends and family who loved us and were far away and were praying for her and for us throughout our process. So, this is my attempt to tell our story, to make up for "lost time" in pictures, and to share some of the thousands of pictures that I take on our journey in this life for as long as the Lord sees fit.
